PostGrad
When I finally get out university (hopefully before menopause), I might spend a year at a college to get some focussed training. So far, Humber College is looking the most appealing.

today i signed up with Hello, a little app that lets you easily, and freely, add images to your blog. you don't even need to worry about hosting the images. i don't know where the pictures go, and i don't especially care just so long as they don't disappear anytime soon. now, check out that pretty mango tree!

A La Carte
So far Spring/Summer 2004 has been rather uneventful. However, I think things might start to pick up in the next couple of weeks. The NXNE festival in Toronto is fast approaching with a pretty decent roster; Ariel might be visiting me in London next week, my mother definitely will be; the weather is getting nicer and I'm feeling a new wave of ppl-meeting coming on (or I might just be hoping for one). And there's the possibility of checking out Wakestock in August. I've yet to find a job, but in the past week I've applied to a number of places, and I'll be looking for more. I have some hefty debts to pay off (phone, credit card) and my small collection of clothing that covers my bum (i.e. pants) has become mostly threadbare. A job will also do nicely to distract me from the fact that most of my friends are no where to be found this summer. So let's go Summer Time money action! Kyra needs a new pair of pants and lineup of cultural events!

Coolio
...or not. I signed up for a gmail account -- Google's fledgling email service -- tonight and from all the possibilities still available from a new service, I chose the username 'coolio.' Yes, Coolio. It sounded just too lame to be anything but cool when I was filling out the field. We'll see how it ages. Maybe this gmail.com will do well and popularize; in four years, kids could be emailing me asking to hear the story of The Day I Became Coolio At Gmail Dot Com. I should get a screen shot.
