Coolio
...or not. I signed up for a gmail account -- Google's fledgling email service -- tonight and from all the possibilities still available from a new service, I chose the username 'coolio.' Yes, Coolio. It sounded just too lame to be anything but cool when I was filling out the field. We'll see how it ages. Maybe this gmail.com will do well and popularize; in four years, kids could be emailing me asking to hear the story of The Day I Became Coolio At Gmail Dot Com. I should get a screen shot.

Audio Update
Yes, Audio Updates still exist in my head and on this page. There's not been too much really catching my attention lately, the exception coming just this evening in the form of Mirah's upcoming release C'mon Miracle!. It's coming out on May 4th. If I have any money, I'm gonna bring it home asap.

Wallaceburg!
I'm off to Wallaceburg later this afternoon with Constance. The drive isn't long at all from London, but I'm still considering it a road trip. Hurrah for road trips! A mixed tape must be made. Our musical tastes, however, differ greatly. I'm thinking that looking back to old camp music for inspiration might help...so a mix of classic rock, jam bands, and Counting Crows. Maybe some Modest Mouse; Jane's Addiction's "Jane Says;" Hem; Ida. Bah! There are fruit flies in my apartment!
